Free Radicals LP - no longer available

This is a collaboration of Tunja/vocals and Mack/music and our first longplayer. The musical idea behind this project is to produce modern songs on the basis of breakbeat production style. The result is a high power breaks album containing lyrics reflecting the madness of our time driven by massive beats and noises. The groove concept is mainly uptempo funk combined with the new world of digital sounds. This sound spectrum allows the producer to create new atmospheres of urban lifestyles and futuristic vibes.

Tunja is the son of the afro american jazz drummer Fred Braceful heavily influenced by the mighty black music styles of jazz and soul. Tunja as a singer comes from a very live music background working with various bands.

Mack has worked on all musical fields from running a club like the legendary Beatbox/Wuppertal, through organizing tours for Jamiroquai to A Tribe called Quest, for Cassandra Wilson to Propellerheads and producing music like a tune for the Dope on Plastic 6 compilation and Mack and MKB 12" "Purdie Baby" from 2k5. Mack has gone back to his roots producing music and running this platform Tam Tam Audio.

Fluxer M 12'' - no nonger available

This project offers heavyweight club tools for DJs and vinyl junkies. A Fluxer creates all day art developed for the moment or future. The first statement here is "Power To The People". A rough Funk workout starting easy at the beginning then dropping a bomb on the dancefloor. The "Power To The People" statement cannot be better connected to the great Mrs. Davis shown on the cover being photographed as a graffity from a house wall.

The flip side carries a house tune with Malcolm X statements "Tied Up".

TamTam Audio recordlabel

TAMTAM AUDIO is a recordlabel for advanced electronica and breakbeat culture. TAMTAM's perspective is to provide a variety of several projects representing different styles of modern dancemusic.

pagelogo

TAMTAM AUDIO products are aiming at an international market. Being based in Wuppertal, an early industialized, smaller town right in the middle of Germany's largest city-cluster, where a long tradition in progressive sounds is influencing the local scene, the label is working on very own ideas how to create alternative styles of listening and dancing.

TAMTAM creates different collaborations out of a pool of creative maniacs - each of them an outstanding artist of her or his own. The resulting productions will be continuously presented on this platform and released as vinyl, compact-disk and zipped vbr-mp3s.

About this.

This page is TAMTAM about our electronica and breakbeat-releases. It's the official home of TAMTAM AUDIO. You can listen and download our promoted stuff as long as you respect the CREATIVE COMMONS deed, which in this case means to give the original author credit, you may not use this work for commercial purposes and if you should alter, transform, or build upon this work*, you may distribute the resulting work only under a licence identical to this one. By accepting this, U may copy, distribute, display or perform the work.

*: It would be nice to be informed about transformations of our tracks. Pleaze send us an email, if you use a TAMTAM AUDIO-tune for something new.

To listen to our promoted stuff, use the next*-yahoo!-Flashtool "easylistener" which should be displayed in the right corner of our page. If it hasn't loaded while visiting our site, hit reload 2 refresh. The tool is tested with FIREFOX and SAFARI - it won't work with OPERA. 4 more information about this player, read Why we try the next*-yahoo!-Flashplayer.

For downloading full vbr-mp3-files of our releases, use the downloadlinks which are part of the release-information.

Even better is to buy our vinyl- or data-products by mailorder. To do so, U should send us a short email request. You find a direct email-link in the upper left corner of this page. [If it doesn't work use the following adress: tamtam (at) tamtamaudio_dot_Dpends-onU_dot_com]

The pages are mainly generated for any resultion above 1.024x768 and for browsers like FIREFOX or Apple's SAFARI. If you still use Mickeysoft's EXPLORER, we strongly suggest to get rid of it and to install better software. Also we suggest to use our rss-feeds to track our newest releases. Web-syndication is a real good method for managing information. If UR not used to it - learn about!

Finally, we'd like to thank some people:

D.PENDS ONU for doing a good job on this.

GORAN ZEC for sharing his photo "mechanical horror" on FLICKR. We used it as a modification for our actual recordlabel-logo.

An unknown photographer, who also shared his photo of very hot computer-stuff on FLICKR, which made it possible to use it partly as our site-header. Unfortunatly we lost every information about him or her during a systemcrash exept of the photo. If he/she will take notice of our pages, we'd like to know his/her name and where his/her other work could be found out there.

Last, but not least, we want to thank the people at TWODAY, who kindly host these pages.
